Epithelioid Hemangioendothelioma of the Liver: CT Findings

Epithelioid hemangioendothelioma (EHE) is a rare vascular tumor of lowto intermediate-grade malignancy that occurs in the liver and other organs. Its etiology is unknown. We report a 57-year-old female with incidental finding of abnormal liver function by blood biochemistry studies. Multiphasic helical CT imaging revealed multifocal hypovascular nodules predominantly at the periphery of both hepatic lobes with concentric filling of contrast medium and delayed enhancement.
